My name is Jared Bergquist. I moved to Las Vegas in 1992. I grew up in Green Valley, Henderson and can remember when there was only desert east of Stephanie (seemingly everyone in Las Vegas has a story like that). I was in the first graduating class at Green Valley H.S. in 1995. After high school I worked until I left on a two year LDS (Mormon) mission to South Korea. I became well versed in the Korean language. After my mission I began a seven year career as a mortgage consultant with Watermark Financial Partners based out of Denver, CO. I worked in Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, UT and Denver, CO. During those seven years I also went to college two years at CCSN (Community College of Southern Nevada). 

I am the oldest of six siblings. I have one brother and four sisters. My father was in the military for 17 years as a Russian Linguist in the intelligence division of the Army. During those 17 years I lived in Germany three different times for a total of 8 years. I also lived in California, Colorado and Texas. Growing up in a military family that moved every 1-3 years allowed me the opportunity to meet new friends and in doing so formed a confident persona.   

In September of 2005 I joined MDL Group as a commercial real estate agent and have not looked back. I immediately jumped into a commercial real estate training program called CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member). After four one week courses, five tests and compiling a 10 million dollar portfolio I received my designation in Newport, CA in April 2008. It took me just under two years to accomplish. 

I am a member of CCIM, NAIOP, CMG and ICSC. I am actively involved in as many commercial real estate organizations as time permits. I am on the Education and Membership committees with CCIM and also on the Bus Tour committee with NAIOP. I know the value of giving first and that has always served me well in life.

In three years handling industrial, office and retail sales and leasing I have come to realize that my market niche is retail. I have found that retail sales and leasing utilizes all of the skills that I have learned through CCIM and ICSC.
